Every May the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) promotes Root Canal Awareness week. I was happy to be featured on the Charlotte Today morning program (WCNC NBC) to bring awareness to what root canals and how they can help save natural teeth. Click video link below to watch:
My practice created the campaign #GiveTeethAChance to help spread the word that root canals are a gentle treatment and are not to be feared, and the important role that Dentists and Endodontists can play in a patient’s overall dental health.
While this video is from an endodontist’s point of view, I think the explanation is a great one that you can share with your patients. Never be afraid to white board — it can really help your patient understand!
