Meet Your Instructors…

Dr. Judy McIntyre, Presenter
Dr. McIntyre experienced dental trauma firsthand as a young child. Despite the traumatic dental injury, she had positive experiences at the dentist, and this cemented her passion to become a dentist, herself.
She attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she performed research on dental unit waterline biofilms. After graduation, Dr. McIntyre attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her endodontics residency. Alongside renowned researchers in the field of endodontics, traumatology and pediatric dentistry, her thesis and research regarding traumatic dental injuries (her true passion and great interest) was published in numerous professional journals.
Dr. McIntyre opened her own office in 2016 and has been active in organized dentistry. She is passionate about sharing her love for dentistry, trauma and endodontics.

Dr. Sonia Chopra, Moderator
Dr. Chopra has dedicated her career to saving teeth. She is a Board-Certified endodontist and founder of E-School: Everyday Endo Made Easy. She is a practicing endodontist with over a decade of experience and her own practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She decided to become an endodontist after discovering firsthand, as a dental patient, the power to save teeth.
Dr. Chopra has taught hundreds of dentists how to hone their endodontic skills, and one of the modules within E-School is dedicated specifically to dental trauma.
She believes in the importance of accurate diagnosis and taking time to educate patients, both of which are particularly important in dental trauma cases. She is looking forward to introducing you to Dr. McIntyre, who specializes in these types of cases.
